Good point. I'll do CPR on this one as long as it takes until it either dies or gets better lol.

By the way, how do you tell when a phal is officially dead?

It turns to mush? I've never seen one officially dead. I have one that is close right now (well probably not, but not as active as I'd like) but as long as there is some sort of response, your still OK. I personally think you are a long way from that point. Try the bag method and see if there's some response. Do a search here on this board for Sphag-in-bag and see if you get some help. There have been lots of discussions and case histories since I've been here.

Since this was written (7 years ago), I have found that the natural stimulants in KelpMax are far superior to any synthetic product.

I have used KLN on orchids that don't have as many roots as I'd like them to have. It has worked well for me. I have used the transplant dilution to soak roots of plants that I want to grow more roots on.

I occasionally water with KLN, lowest concentration per recommendation on the bottle. Myc but I would do this only 1 or 2 times per growing season, maybe another 1 or 2 times the rest of the year.

Get a small bottle. Store as recommended on the bottle. KLN seems to lose potency after about 1 year. BTW you can also use it on other ornamental plants too.
