These have been without water for about 2-3 months. (!)

Picture is 14 days apart. Just wanted to show how strong orchids are, and that they can bounce back in pretty short time.

All are pics from 13.januar and today 27.januar. And I promise to take better care of them now☺️

Repotted in smaller container

Going to repot or mount

Well, good thing it had some bulbs to keep it wet for all that time...

This poor Lycaste is plumping back.

Kinda amazing to see how they are recovering. Have to say I feel really awful looking at the pics from 13.januar though…
My phalaenopsis are doing great though, my windowsill from today is lovely to look at.

Wow, without water for 2 or 3 months. Mine would not survive that. They don't look bad at all.

Its been in a pretty cold room, so I guess that saved them, and the mix holds a bit of water. And the bulbs.
But it was in due time I started to care for them.

Two weeks later, 4 weeks since they were all dried up and looking sad, they are growing😃

New growth in both ends😎

Nice recovering😃

This one also is starting a new growth, but a bit small to catch on camera

A bit beaten up, but its gonna survive- and so happy I didnt cut that new ugly bulb, seems to not be getting worse and its a small new growth underneath☺️

This has also grown a tiny bit, but well, didnt have many roots left when I repotted, so still a bit worried. Time will tell

So, I'm happy☺️ Its so rewarding seeing happy plants☺️ Back in buisiness😎

Spring is coming, and the plants are really starting to grow- all of them. Isnt that just a lovely time of year😍

And to Dea (if you read this, I always think about you when I see the frostii, how patient you have been waiting for it to bloom): I really really hope your frostii will be kind with you this year😊 I bet it looks better than mine atleast😜 And please share a photo of it if you have- that is a stubborn plant you got😎

Hey Helene! You're sweet and yes,my frostii has a new growth but I can't tell if it's to be a flower or just another leaf. Nice growing on your bunch tho. Even if the plants outside haven't woken up yet,at least we can enjoy and anticipate what's starting up in the home. My orchid society is hosting our annual show the next 4 days and members have worked extremely hard making it the spectacular event it is each year.Must push thru the crowds but so worth it!
