You've done a great job of nursing those orchids back to health! Very impressive.

The only one I was still worried about three weeks ago was the bellatulum. I think I can say its gonna survive. Lol, that we can never know- but atleast I consider all of them fully recovered.
Its kinda amazing seeing how they looked 7 weeks ago, and seeing them so healthy today. Orchids are survivors😍

The end😃 Happy ending in this one.
All of the orchids pictured survived.
I lost only two or three orchids in three months of not watering.

It got a little hot in the window- or, the humidity was a bit low compared to the temperature.
So I decided to make it a mini-environment with air and humidity. Not that it complained in the windowsill, but maybe it would be more happy if I got it higher humidity.

Here it is- about two months after the very first picture. Not bad😃

(Humidity is 52, have to turn your head. I think it likes it&#128526 And the aloe doesnt like me. I have not read, knowledge is the thing. I need to read about how to care for aloes.

The others:
Bulbo doesnt like being repotted, this doesnt seem to notice that. But a couple old bulbs are wrinkly- dont like that. Have to figure out why its not happy. But growing

Wrinkly but it still have green roots, the new bulb has own roots, and should not drain energy from the old bulb? Is it growing too fast, or is it really that unhappy about the repot? Is it growing because its happy, or in panic? Lol, guess time will tell.

The frostii, poor thing- bouncing back and rewarding with a new growth. Its okay in there, thinking of making that little plant a new place next year. Or later this year. Make a little environment for him too.

A bit damaged, but still kinda cute. Feel guilty everytime I see the damage though😜 But I can consider that a reminder of what happens when you dont care for them😉

Everything is growing actually. Its spring in my home. Look at this one, less than three weeks apart. I would prefer if it grew roots down, and not up- aerial roots are a phal thing- not this one.

That old bulb saved it while I was not caring for them in winter. Shows how strong these plants are.

The small growth is the one pictured in february. Stopped growing and grew a new. Not sure the small one will grow again.

Well, plant can survive being neglected, but they do look way better when you care for them. Rewarding little things, when they are happy they are kinda amazing😎

Happy growing people. Have a lovely easter, and enjoy your plants. Learn from mistakes, and dont stress about it. Its not that hard, its just different from other plants. For newbies it sometimes seems hard getting them to bloom, but it is not that hard, its different. So you need to learn about the differences, to be able to give it an environment it can thrive in. Its easy, when you have more knowledge.
😉

Have I ever told you I am fascinated by both orchids and human beings?
Well, I am.

Knowledge and understanding. See how things interact with eachother.
Thats what I am thinking about this easter. And taking care of my plants, and my family.

Lol, writing always makes my mind wander- so everything goes off topic. Sometimes I try not to. And I manage to stay on topic. Sometimes I dont. I just do it. Sometimes I think I should really lock my computer inside a safe. 😂 But I do enjoy drinking coffee and writing on my computer, so I never do.

I am thinking I might be addicted to thinking aswell. Especially when I write. Mostly philosophy, or analyzing things. Mostly about human beings and communication and well. Whatever.

Oh man, I am having a teaparty in this thread. All by myself. 😂 Oh my god. Yeah, my hubby says I'm a special one. He often shakes his head, but I think he likes my plants. I even think he likes me.

I think I am pretty normal irl. Atleast I camouflage as one. Arent we all a tiny bit crazy?

Yeah- I decided I could blame easter for the new orchids. One is yellow- easter is coming, I'm decorating.

Happy Easter🐣

I've been getting over a terrible cold, mid Feb to now. Coughing all day. Sleeping most of the day when I don't have to work. Everything, house keeping, school work, has gone down the drain. I wish I could just hibernate through the winter! I am so glad it is now "Potato" season. Finally going to be planting something.
