When I'm dealing with a hybrid orchid I don't know, like most of them including this one, I look up its parents on

IOSPE

and let that guide me. There is also a program called Orchid Wiz that has a lot of information.

It seems that guanahacabibensis is a recent discovery ? which might explain the lack of info available. IOSPE says hot growing, moderately bright light IOSPE PHOTOS

oncidioides, IOSPE says warm to hot growing, moderately bright light IOSPE PHOTOS

I only have a couple of Encyclias myself, but I believe that typically, the media should dry completely in-between waterings.

Hopefully other members may be able to be more helpful!
