Another orchid haul....
Hi all--
OK, so went to Wilson's Greenhouse outside of Newark, Ohio for some plant labels and made the mistake of checking their markdown section....Here's what followed me home....
Onc. Gower's Ramsay 'Pure Yellow' (in spike)
Onc. Sharry Baby 'Sweet Fragrance'
Wils. Aloha Sparks 'Pele's Glow'
Brsdm Solar Flares 'Kalapana'
They are in 4" pots and were $5 each...The Wilsonara has overgrown the pot and the rest pretty much fill them. Plenty of healthy roots and new growths too.
For those in the central Ohio area, there were at least a couple more of each variety on the clearance bench (just to help you feed you addictions lol)....

Wish I had a local greenhouse that marked down spiking plants! Nice score!

Wilson's is a really nice garden center--good quality plants, and nice and knowledgeable people (though they don't have an orchid specialist--yet).
They don't always have lots of markdown plants, but sometimes you get lucky....This time they were have on Onc. complex orchids, but I've seen plenty of Catt alliance (including Epi and Enc hybrids along with Catts), Paphs, Den phals, and even the occasional species Den. Pretty much all of their plants are named cultivars, which is a bonus...
