Looks like your phals are happy! It's nice when they give us more than one spike! Enjoy!

Around here, the 'disease' is known as "Orchid Aquisition Disorder". Totally incurable, and it only gets worse. I can't remember who came up with that one, but it's a perfect name for our illness!

I really like your phal! Lucky you to have so many spikes on it. It will be quite a show!

I agree with Camille totally except I call it a sickness bordering on addiction, but thoroughly enjoyable.

I started with one cym, because the orchid was in the pot that I wanted to buy. So I planned to take out the cym and discard it. How little I knew. Actually had I known maybe I would have.

Now in the last 10 months my collection have grown to 80+ chids (actually a lot more as I have not included the plants I have divided)

Just a hint give yourself a budget and stick to it with that

Budget?????? Not familiar with that word. Actually it sounds like a swear word, and I don't allow that in my house.
My theory is to buy an orchid periodically, and you are bound to find the one that totally disgusts you into not wanting orchids anymore. I think I am almost there. I had 80, and yesterday that number turned to 81 (husband let me pick out an orchid for Valentine's Day!)
but #81 isn't the one that disgusts me yet. Maybe #82. I call that delusional bliss.
Oh, the orchid I picked out is an white hybrid beauty. She is a bit tramatized from her long ride home, but I will post a pic as soon as she feels better and catches her breath. kiki

Three plants? Only three plants???

You haven't even begun to get obsessed. Over the last year I pared my collection down to about 500.

LOL I was going to SAY! Ray has expressed my sentiments exactly.

It starts with one, now and again... then you start coming home with 4 or 5 at a time! But don't worry... you'd be in good company here.

Happy collecting!
