Can't find the thread to say thanks there. Nt even sure who it was who advised.

Anyway, I had just had a cymbidium spike abort, much to my fury, as there were two more on the plant and I could see that they might go the same way. Then, I came on here to research a bit, and lo and behold, someone else had the identical problem.

I think it was Cymblady ?? who gave the advice to treat the spike as it was probably thrips. So, I sprayed the spikes, and now I have this instead of another blasted one.

Many thanks again. I shall, in future spray every spike as a matter of course.

It's called Pastoral something or other. I'll check it tomorrow, and post the name.

Thanks, bil! I'm actually creating a wish list and I can't miss to have a Cymbidium on it! If I'm not mistaken, cymbs are cool growers? I need to reasearch!

Glad to see you were able to save the spikes. It is wonderful to have such a large source of knowledge at our fingertips!
