Angraecum sesquipedale spike
Well, I bought a Angraecum sesquipedale, but the roots were in such crap order I din't think it would do well. So, I stuck it up against a sheet of natural cork in case it recovered well enough to grow up it. This morning I noticed that it is actually throwing a spike. You can just see it in the middle of the pic.
Now, as I'm new to this species, is there anything to watch out for, or that I need to do? Only I have always wanted one of these because of its association with Darwin, and I would really like to see it flower.
