Angraecum sesquipedale spike

Well, I bought a Angraecum sesquipedale, but the roots were in such crap order I din't think it would do well. So, I stuck it up against a sheet of natural cork in case it recovered well enough to grow up it. This morning I noticed that it is actually throwing a spike. You can just see it in the middle of the pic.

Now, as I'm new to this species, is there anything to watch out for, or that I need to do? Only I have always wanted one of these because of its association with Darwin, and I would really like to see it flower.

My seedling grew well in 40%-60% humidity but is doing better in 50%-70%. It likes a lot of light and the more I fertilized it, the faster the leaves elongated.

Not that I've learned. Should have mentioned I put it into semihydroponic culture on arrival. It's in a 1 quart/liter container with LECA. It came in June this year, from Fred Clarke at SVO. I haven't let it go below 50 F / 10C yet. It has all the leaves it came with plus 2 new ones.

OK, thanks. Mine's in bark, and is slowly growing up the cork. When I bought it, the roots were like dried sticks, and I didn't think it would survive. I complained, and the vendor sent me two others as replacements, explaining that all of the ones he had been sent were like that. In the end they all pulled thru, much to my surprise.
