Special thanks to All!! Update
Dendrobium Spring Dream 'Kumiko
I made a post on this last April 2015 in full bloom.
It has been in spike since the beginning of November.
A bit of my culture for it. I rarely was watering it I have been really busy . When I watered it I used very hot water.
I made a post on that before. The old bulbs looked very dehydrated after repot into orchid bark, perlite and charcoal. But soon enough the babies started to thrive. Just when I thought the older ones would be almost dead , I watered it at the beginning of November in my usual hot water and the next day they we huge !! Tall and plumped ! A couple days later they were forming spike nubs. I'm not sure if finally the bark started to hold in moisture ? But something out of the ordinary for me at least this is my first re spiking or blooming in my complete care. I can't remember the last time I fertilized bc I ran out and didn't have a chance to buy more.
Long story short I really enough this orchid and maybe I'll catch a few more a TJs again one day!
Many thanks to all who gave me information on how to repot it !!!

Beautiful! Congrats!
I'd really recommend caution using hot water - tepid - luke warm is probably safer.

I don't really understand, can I get the link to the post? Hot water? I have been in rainstorms in Taiwan and I remember tepid water but not hot. It was like you were being drooled on.

The hot water is a method that has worked for me. Just as other methods work for others. I am currently using it on my other orchids too. No official experiment as I am a mother of five and I can't spend too much time on orchids.
I will look for the thread and repost. It was something new that I tried but received a lot of negative feedback which I didn't care too much for. Not everyone's living conditions , potting media, or watering / fertilizing is exactly alike.

I'm curious. What temperature is your water at when you water with it?

Hot Watering
Some of the opinions were expressed rather more strongly than I might have done, but Ashleyma23 seems OK nevertheless.

I prefer to believe that water from the heavens falls somewhere between 50 and 80F and wouldn't use water warmer (or probably not much colder) than that.
I would prefer to not cook the roots...
Glad the yellow beauty reflowered for you...orchids are tough and tolerate drought better than over-abundance of water.

Well, to be fair, not only does water fall from the heavens at 50 to 80F but orchids grow under the heavens on trees, rocks or the Earth, not in pots, mounts or hanging from wires, exposed to species of arthropods, fungi and bacteria they don't experience in habitat.
