All I can suggest is to keep an eye on it to make sure it isn't spreading. If it does, I would remove the bad part down to healthy green tissue. Going forward, maybe use some seaweed in your water occasionally to help prevent some root growth. The roots don't look super plump and healthy. Some moving air is good too, not sure if it was getting that previously.
