Question Flowering Paphiopedilum?

What is the trick to get Paphs to bloom? Everything else flowers for me regularly.

I'm familiar with the cultural requirements, and I know they don't like mineral buildup. I've been told they like to be crowded and repotted every year. Mine look ok, grow ok, but never flower! What gives?

I don't have an answer because I am in the same boat. I bought mine over a year ago with buds, and they look great, but haven't even a hint of another bud happening.
I was told to be patient...yet I know of others whose blossom profusely. I'll be watching for experts to answer this thread. Sorry, I couldn't help. kiki

Not enough light or nutrition would be my guess. I grow mine with my phals, but I grow my phals a lot brighter than most folks. 1500-2000 fc. I fertilize at 125ppm N every week, and it also gets a mid week plain water. Mine is spiking with 2 buds.
