Default Anyone else in Alabama growing a Vanilla Bean orchid? I could really use some tips.

Greeting,

I'm growing a vanilla bean in Alabama which surprises me cause they are known to grow in zones 10-11. Anyone else growing one and having success? I personally am having luck but dont want to jinx myself with the winter coming up. This is my first vanilla orchid and I have only had it for about a year. It has grown outside in a hanging pot over the summer under my logustrum tree. Since its getting cold now I brought it inside because my greenhouse is out of room. I really want to repot it but I don't know when and what size pot. So, is anyone else having success with vanilla beans in Alabama? What are the secrets? Will I make the first Alabamian Vanilla Bean? Can't wait to see what you have to say! Thanks

So I just started looking up growing a vanilla bean here in Alabama.. How did your vanilla bean tree do? Did it produce? Where did you buy it?
