Here in the "Great White North" (though none of the white stuff has stuck in my area), an unobstructed east window would be too strong for Ludisia. (Would wind up with bleached orangish leaves.) An unobstructed northern window would work. Now if the east window in Q is obstructed by trees, other plants or such so that the Ludisia only received direct early morning sun or bright shade, then it should do just dandy I would think.
