So long as the pot has some good holes which I can't see in the picture, it should be good. Your roots look fine. I wouldn't keep poking and prodding them or they will revolt and stop growing. They like to be stable and not bothered once potted, so pot it up and stake or secure it until it can anchor itself better in the pot with more roots. Then letting it be is sometimes better than fussing too much with them.
