Hey all
Missed chatting to everyone and iv had a bit more time again after months of mega hectic times with work.
All but one phal has flowers left however as these are my first im happy to say 3 now have new stems ☺ sooo happy. My oncidium and dend also lost all their flowers so hopefully they will also produce new eventually.
Its gettin colder now here and was wondering ahould i stop watering now and put them into the warmest room again? I gave them a cool rest to encourage growth.
In my experience, Phals should never be allowed to dry out. In the colder temperatures of winter they should be in the house or warm greenhouse once temperatures fall below 50 F. As the humidity in the house may decrease as the house temps rise, you may actually find yourself watering Phals more.
