Hello,
your plant seems determined to survive.
I am sure that with a bit of extra care it will recover.
From the photos it seems to be growing a new leaf and a keiki.
Do not cut the leaf that currently is essential to sustain the plant.
The most important thing now is to encourage the growth of new roots and misting daily and the clay pot should be of help.
Good luck
Nicola

Honestly, I would have even tried to save it if it DIDN'T have any leaves. I think of plant rescue as a science experiment. Anything I learn about the rescue teaches me something new about how to care for orchids, so even if I'd have to wait years to see a flower, it's worth it to me. I DO toss them, if they really just sit there for months doing nothing, but any pulse is a pulse in my book!
A bit of sphag might help the plant keep enough moisture at the base to grow roots. And since Ray hasn't chimed in, try some of his KelpMax. It's magic!

Same here! It is part of growing orchids and learning more - if they were easy, I don't think it would have been such an obsession!

It started growing another leaf today, so now three baby leaves from original crown and then the little growth at the bottom which is doubling in size daily!

Would love to buy some of Ray's goods, but live in South Africa unfortunately

You can get them shipped. It costs extra, but the fertiliser and kelpmax are worth it.

I live in Spain, and he ships to there.
