Longest lasting Phal. Flower ever?
I wonder what's the longest time that Phal flower cloud last?

I'd had these same 4 flowers blooming since mid May, it's 4 moth now, they are still open. No new buds no dead blooms, just these 4 flowers frozen in time. Color getting bleached a bit due to sun exposure. All my other Phals blooms have come & gone.
What,s the longest bloom from same flower you've seen? Is this normal?

I have had a NOID phal bloom continuously (same buds/flowers) from Mother's Day to Labor Day (for members outside the USA, that is early May to early September)

I have some that have been flowering with the same spike for 5 months. Might be 6 but I can't remember exactly when the first flower opened.

LOL! I too am a phal killer but I bought a "Golden Embers' 2 years ago and it's STILL ALIVE! I believe my problem was over watering.

Another month gone by, 1 expired but 3 are still open.
It's not unusual for Phal to bloom continuously for 5 month, some could do it year round by keep opening new flowers (not same old flower)
But I've not seen the same flower open for that long & refuse to die, looks like these 3 can hang in there for a bit longer still, no sign of weakening yet...

Not the same flowers in bloom for the entire time and not everyone would agree that it's a Phal., but my Phal. pulcherrima (formerly Doritus) was still blooming on last years spikes when this years spikes initiated. Almost continual bloom. Four spikes yielded 156 flowers before I cut them.

The longest I ever had a phalaenopsis stay in bloom was about 16 months. BIG old complex hybrid, grown on a windowsill when I was still relatively new.
