Hi guys,
I have a fertilizer at home and i use it for Nepenthes and other plants. Can I use it for Orchids too?
It is an NPK 20-20-20 called "Asso di Fiori".
Thanks
Assuming it is a water soluble fertilizer, 20-20-20 should be fine for orchids.
I suspect Nepenthes would prefer a dilute fertilizer solution. Most orchids also prefer dilute fertilizer. I would also consider providing calcium and magnesium supplements (either through a CalMag product, or providing Ca and Mg through the use of gypsum and Epsom salts).
Of course it is water soluble. For my Nepenthes I use it at "half strenght" and so I will do with orchids.
Thank you
I have another question.. is it ok if I use it once a month?
