Default Price Comparisons

I just bought an orchid from Lowe's (Phal hybrid Dtps Sogo Berry). It has nice thick green leaves, no signs of insects, and lots of light green roots, two spikes, and is in bloom with extra buds. Out of curiosity, searching online led me to a similar size orchid of the same type on Ebay. I paid $11.98 and was able to view the plant before buying. The same orchid on Ebay was 25.00 plus 9.00 shipping. So, I would be hesitant about buying on Ebay unless you know the seller and what a fair price is. Just FYI.

Ebay = Buyer Beware.

You can find rarities, which you will never see in Lowes; but it is up to you to determine whether the price is justified (by rarity & plant size).

When a reseller lists something that is readily available, price is higher than Lowes. However, that might still be acceptable to someone, who does not have a Lowes nearby.
