Orchid sale...Lord, help me!
Fantasy Orchids in Colorado is having a buy one, get one for half price sale. I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more orchids, but apparently I'm a liar. I ordered a Yellow Bird to replace the one I lost while on vacation, and finally got a blue vanda. No self control at all...I know!

That's good thinking, bil. Actually, I had a couple of their orchids on my wish list, and then I got the sale notice. That's a sign from the heavens, right? And then they had this Tristar Blue Vanda that I've been dreaming about, and it would be half price! How could I resist?

Can't say I blame ya. Just wait till that exponential growth really hits you. I get sale notices often, then I go visit the site ... Seattle Orchids, Andy's, Ray's, & more, but lately once I get there I quickly get out! Hard to do...

I got that e-mail as well. Went to the sight and got out like lotis. I'm still kicking myself when I was there in May that I didn't get the Yellow Bird. They were nice healthy little plants, I had one in my hands and put it back. I got a nodosa and a Blue Hawaii and they are both growing like gang busters.

No-Pro-mwa, I have to say that I'm not impressed with their customer service, but they DO grow some sturdy orchids. I have to be more cautious with Andy's. He grows his in a very hot and wet greenhouse, and the plants really struggle for me because I just can't get the humidity up very high. The ones I get from Santa Barbara do well too.
