Two different genera within the Cypripediacea family:
Paphiopedilums grow in the Asia/Pacific region, and can breed with each other.
Phragmipediums grow in Central/South American region, and can breed with each other.
Although one or two Paph x Phrag hybrids have been registered, it is generally accepted that the two groups cannot breed with each other.
