Online supplies shipped to Germany?
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good website to purchase orchid supplies, or maybe even somewhere reputable that sells the orchids themselves. The catch is that I am looking for someone who will (can) ship to Germany, but also has either an English website, or translate well using Google Translate, and I have a strong preference for understandable labeling. I don't even know where to begin to look.

Online supplies shipped to Germany?
There are many good nurseries in Germany. There was a list somewhere on this board, but I can't find it now
For supplies, I can recommend Roellke Orchideen but most of the other vendors have also good offers.
Send me a PM if you need help with translation.
Edit:
I found a vendor list on a German forum :

Thanks for that. On that list is one I remember seeing before. I was lost while driving. I think I will head over there this week.

There should be no restrictions on most potting materials, but chemicals (fertilizers, pesticides, etc.) would be a different matter. However, few US businesses will ship internationally.
Most materials available in the US should be readily available in Europe also.
If there is something unique you can't find in Europe, you can probably engage a broker/buying agent to buy and ship on your behalf. However, they would want a commission, and shipping anything bulky across the Atlantic is expensive.

Actually, Kim. I have found that potting media - untreated, plant-based materials - are harder to ship than are chemicals....

Ray,
I guess they have tightened up after all the problems with insects in untreated shipping pallets. Didn't think of that when I posted.

Thanks so much!
I learned alot from this thread. Off of that list that was posted earlier, I found a place about 30 minutes from here that is huge! They have several connected greenhouses, 3 of which appear to be almost entirely orchids. English is still a problem, but this will just encourage me to learn German faster (wow, that is not going well... )
I mostly went for potting substrate and advice. I got the advice, and forgot all about the potting substrate. I did buy a Sharry Baby Oncidium though! Guess I will have to go back.
