At least this addiction is a healthy one. Oxygen in return for carbon dioxide and water. The more addicted you are the cleaner the air gets. Its especially good when you cant get out of the house.

Hi PeeWee! Where do you get your supplies from? I'm looking for a nice small sized mix for small phals that isn't seedling mix...or if it is, doesn't have moss in it.
Sorry.... to those who love moss!
Oxygen in return for carbon dioxide and water. Cleaner air. Hmmmm, writing that down for future ammo. So it's a good cause, buying orchids, isn't it?????? I mean, we all have to do our part to clean up the planet, right?
Oh Happy happy, joy joy!!! Another excuse!

Hello there, Kiki-do, I get my supplies from Repotme.com. They have very good quality products and excellent customer service. Their shipping is a little high, but you get your stuff quickly. They have a "make your own mix" feature wherein you can choose specific ingredients to make your own custom mix. I've ordered from them since I started my obsession with orchids (about 1 year ago) and I cannot say enough good things about them.

I have a lot of outdoor plants and I use MSU on them. They are going crazy!!! LOL Although, I must admit that it's expensive!! I order from them quite often.

Have fun with your orchids.

Kiki-do, I second that! I have been hooked on their potting mixes for orchids...and so are my orchids! I too have had nothing but top of the line customer service as well! Never ever any problems! I have even tried many of their mixes...including the imperial mixes...and wow are they nice, a little expensive...but nothing but the best for my 'chids...lol! You should give them a try! What size of pot are you needing to fill? If it is just one pot....I could send you a small amount of mine to try for free if you would like...just send me a pm and let me know.

Hi gang,
Yes im in a good location but I cannot tell how how many innocent orchids were killed because I thought that 85 degrees could be interpreted as "intermediate". As for you guys growing orchids with snow outside . Anyone can grow orchids where I live but you guys have another ball of wax figuring out how to grow inside. THAT'S dedication. PS Im really jealous of those cool growers that you guys can grow like those giant cymbidiums. Tata for now

^ My name says it all, but the 1st step is to acknowledge the addiction!!! From there I have a 2 step program...
1: buy more orchids...
2: Buy more orchids.......
I think I have chronic orchidaholizim, with the addiction so severe it may be detrimental to my health to quit all at once...
