Now folks, she is asking for support with her problem and I think it only proper that we do so! So here I go:
Nice orchid selections!
You really could use some nice bright red and vibrant purple orchids too, don't you think?
Awww, come on! What's another orchid or two? Ya know ya want one!
If you get some mini's they won't take up your remaining space as quickly.
Feeling "supported" yet?

Considering your "problem" maybe that was a blessing. LOL

Gwen, Hello! My guy built tiers of benches, much like bleacher seats for my back sunroom. I keep the high light orchids on the top two and my medium lights on the two in front of them...the high lights block much of the really strong light. Strong light for Maine, that is. LOL I have a picture somewhere in the gallery. I love it, but it is already full. I need more bleachers! BTW, they are not attached to each other so I can move them around during changes with sunlight.
Orchid Slave, hello! I honestly can't imagine living in an area where orchids are available all the time. A simple support group just wouldn't cut it for me! I have an idea of how you can lose 30 lbs., though, just put down all the orchids you are holding.

Hi Paul,
I am definately going to be at the MOS show this month, and was hoping to help with set-up also.
With my schedule just getting to the meetings has been difficult, so I'm looking forward to learning more about it by helping put it together.
What part of MI are you from?
Speaking of addiction, I went to English gardens last weekend to look for an orchid pot, and came home with 2 more orchids.
A Paph. Macabre 'HOF' HCC/AOS x Paph. Hsinying Quatal '#1' and a small Onc. Mem Ralph Yagi 'Solar Baby'.
(I buy quite a few out of flower because they are under $5.)
I think I may need a 14 step program. I don't think 12 is going to be enough!!!
But of course, that won't stop me from aquiring more at the MOS show!

I went to the greater Akron show on saturday I had to stop myself at two though . I had to keep reminding myself that I'm going to a show every weekend this month including the MOS show. J&L Orchids had a table at the Akron show....a table full of miniature orchids!!! so I got a Aerangis fastuosa and a Masd. wendlandiana, those should hold me until this weekend... West Shore Orchid Society here I come!!!

PAUL! That's great, and yes I feel very supported!! Your are ALSO correct in the statement that considering my "problem" I should be grateful that the show was canceled...but I think I may need to add to the collection this week-end..I can't decide between ordering from Andy's again or driving up the street to the greenhouse....
and Welcome Orchid Slave...I'm jealous over your location!

I've always enjoyed doing set up -- but I may just be strange that way. Presently the Novi area.

Paul,
Being from Novi, you're not too far from English Gardens. It's on Orchard Lake just North of Maple, west side.
Good selection of Phal's, and usually some rarer others mixed in like Otaara's or Mini Onc. They had about 50 'Twinkle's' when I was there last week, but no yellow.
(I get first dibs on the rarer ones!!!)
(You are so close that I'm surprised that you haven't heard it calling to you in the night... "We have more orchids.....come and see....yeeessss ....come and see.")
