Hi all,
I received this Cymbidium NOID yesterday from a friend that is moving abroad. It has just finished flowering(cut short by terrible care) and this is what I found when I removed it from it's pot:
- pseudobulbs below surface
- large bark chips in pot and then filled with soil to cover roots (pseudobulbs lived in this soil)
- discoloured pseudobulbs
- earthworms
- lots of new growth
I soaked it in Physan 20, removed rotten roots and sprayed with Physan again before repoting it. I must say, the roots look very good, with new growth on almost every single one.
The only thing I am worried about is the pseudobulbs recovering - the color is very strange - brown and pink and reddish.
Any advice?
