Dendrobium javieri culture

I bought a Dendrobium javieri, but Andy's doesn't carry it anymore, and I wanted to check what it likes to be planted in. My notes say "basket", but it isn't doing well in a basket with bark. Does anyone grow this?

I don't grow this (it's now Dendrochilum)

Plant can be grown from cool to warm areas with medium to bright light. Pot with fine bark and perlite or sphagnum moss. Plant prefers dry periods between watering. Reduce watering during the winter. Water about once a week
