In the large greenhouse where I rent space, we have metal mesh on the north wall. We then use pot hook-clips to hang plants (mostly smaller Cattleya & Dendrobium). They naturally slanted by the shape of the pot.
I have erected two metal mesh walls on my bench. There i can attach both mounted plants, and small Vandaceous plants in net pots. The latter by threading a piece of galvanized steel wire up the inside of the net pot. I bend the bottom into a tight hook that catches the bottom edge of the net pot. Finally I bend the top over the edge of the pot, with abt 1" to hook into the mesh wall.
