Seedling trays FULL of orchids.
Because of reasons I have in my possession several seedling trays of orchids that should have been potted/mounted/maintained years ago.... But they weren't.
I'm not sure what to do with them. There's no medium in the trays and they're jammed full of orchids some 1-1/2 feet tall and blooming, while it looks pretty I feel I need to do something with them.... Can I repot at this point? I'd like to make some room for some of the less developed orchids at the bottom and roots are coming through the holes in the bottom. Also, I can't ID the blooming tray, the flowers look kinda like they have two horns.
Ideas?
Edit: one of the trays appears to be bulbophyllum saurocephalum... If anyone cares. Will post pics of the flowering ones asap

The 'two horned' one seems to be Dendrobium antennatum.
I think, if you manage to untangle them, you could repot them individually. But I'm guessing that their roots have grown in all directions, so getting them in pots may be tricky. Though I have to say it looks really nice like that with all of them together in a tray!

Dendrobium Antennatum. They look nice and healthy. Maybe mount them instead of pot them? They are already used to life out of a pot.

How urgently should I re-pot though? I read all sorts of bad about re-potting while blooming but it's so tight there's a large variance in the health of the plants.
They do look really nice all jammed in there but my first priority is to avoid die off...... So leave it alone or re-pot?.... Or am I missing another solution?
I would love to mount it but I'm short of hapu'u/cork/trees right now.

I might be tempted to pot them in small clumps if they won't separate easily into individual plants. The worse that will happen is their blooms will die off from disturbing them. I would wait till end of bloom if possible but if they need attention now, go for it! Or try and do some and leave some alone until after bloom. See how it goes with a few first.

I'd choose plant health over flowers if it came down to it.
