it is gutting to break a spike especially of a plant your dying to see flower.

knocked my bellina off the other day was pretty upset although the plant seems unharmed and still growing after its sudden depotting.

My mom had a 5 gallon terrarium with a vine growing in it for 20 years– longer than I had been alive at the time! And she dropped something on it and it shattered.

She was SOBBING. Just beside herself.
But I got it. I felt so sad for her!! I would also sob if I lost something I'd been cultivating for so long! At least my mom and I will get each other when we talk about plants!

EDIT: This led me to be reminded to check ebay to see if I could find the same glass pig that she had... and there it was! Cheaper than I'd ever seen it! I am gonna surprise her and remake the terrarium for her!!! YAY!
