How big of a pot is that in? You might not want to give any divisions away until you know the plant is healthy. Also, if you're not already, be aware that divisions may take time to bloom.
Back to the browning...so you say they're turning back to green now? They look brown to me but are they REALLY brown-brown? I've never seen bulbs turn brown but I have seen Catt pbulbs turn dark purple when given lots of high light (got several right now that are doing this). I also have a Vuyl. Melissa Brianne that has a pbulb turning slightly purple with some purple spotting on the leaves. That flower should be purple, so I wonder about Shelob (I have one in bloom right now, well coming out of bloom actually) and its brown-to-some-degree flowers...it's a stretch I know... but you say they're greening now, so what's changed?
Last question: does it smell at all? Those pbulbs I mean.

Looking at the ends of your leaves and seeing the brownish purplish tint, and hearing that they are turning green now tells me that you were probably giving this guy a bit more light than it really wanted. Not quite enough to sunburn it, but enough that it was activating its defenses to protect itself from it.
These like to stay a bit more moist than you are keeping it. Do not allow the medium to dry out completely. I water mine (I have this exact plant in an 8" pot) twice a week and I have it potted in bark. If the top of the moss feels a bit crispy, it's time to water it again. Those pbulbs will be perfectly smooth, without wrinkles, when you have the watering regimen for it right.
I would not divide this. I do not feel that this plant is ready to be removed from this pot yet either. Just repot it with fresh medium and turn it so that new growth has a place to go. I generally put the newest growths facing the center of the pot, and the oldest growths at the back by the rim of the pot. You could get a year or two of additional growth out of this pot. When I repotted mine, it had pbulbs growing over the side of the pot. You're not there yet.
