Oh lord, well it was mostly during an I don't care about anything phase, and I scarcely watered them, put them in high light, and probably left them in the spaghnum they tend to come in.
This year (after 7 years of no orchids), I'm trying them again, and trying to do it right (or what I see as right): fine oncidium bark, watering about every 2 or 3 days when the media becomes slightly dry, and late evening sun (would do morning if I had a window that had morning sun only).
I can't tell you what kind of growth that is going to give me yet...though I have emergent new PBs...I only re-orchid accquired starting in February.
However, other genera are doing much better for me than during my don't care phase.
