Advice needed for rescued Orchid
Default Advice needed for rescued Orchid
I found an orchid sitting in the garbage near my house. I believe it to be a Phal. I'm looking for advice on what I should do with it.

Does it need to be repotted? Should I cut the spike to try and get it to re-bloom or should I cut it low and let it get bigger. I've attached some pictures.

I'm in Vancouver,BC. From what I've read, an west facing window would be best for it but my west windows don't get a whole bunch of light. How much light do they need?
