Wow that is odd. I have a lot of den nobles, although I have only had them since the beginning of the year, and I have never seen any thing like that. I had a couple that put out flowers long after they flowered buy it was on established canes.

It is not strange since the plant is a hybrid, but its exciting to see a new growth already putting forth some flower buds.

Yes it is exciting to see flower buds, I wonder if it will continue to grow or would budding hinder growth?

I don't see any reason why the growth would be hindered since it looks like a healthy cane. If you continue your care that cane will grow tall and produce keikis and maybe produce flowers again.

I have one that does the same. It throws kkeikis and flowers that turn into keikis all over the plant. It makes it very messy.

So here are the flowers. Not open all the way yet, and I don't know that they will for the little one is kind of crowded.

So the confusion continues...
Today was clean up day, trying to keep plants bug free. I notice that one of the other new canes, which is only about 4 inches is doing this...
