This was our first Onc, and it was a strategic move - get one for R30 and see if it works And it does! Nothing special, he loves water and lots of sun. I have to spray his aerial roots quite frequently, but what can else one do if their plant is a freak. He is spending winter in a north window with sheer curtains.
Sometimes I feel like these noIDs are the most giving and thankful orchids you can have.
Since then we got a Sharry Baby from Lourens, also seems to enjoy sun a lot.

Stick with what works. There is no point in growing something that doesn't work in your environment - it'll just make you frustrated and that's not what orchid growing should be about
We're definitely in 'anything pretty goes' period and we get what we like, so yeah, trying to make many orchids happy
