well draining chunky bark media with some sphagnum moss added in.
bright light- it sits with my cattleyas.
water once a week, allowing to dry between waterings. to compare, I water my cattleyas once a week also by the den kingianum has some sphagnum (maybe 10%) and the cattleya has no sphagnum moss.

I fertilize once a month with balanced fertilizer. I also use algae/kelp fertilizer and/or super thrive every so often.

These come from northwestern Australia.
