What is going on with my mounted mini? Haraella retrocalla
I am new to both mounts and minis, so please bear with me!
I got this adorable little Haraella from Andy's in January, with the intention of making a lantern terrarium. I noticed it started getting some mold on the moss, so I now keep the lantern door open for more ventilation. The stick it's mounted on sits in a soap dish that I top up with water every few days when it gets dry. The lantern is near a south-west window but gets no direct light.
A few weeks ago it lost a leaf from the middle, and that concerned me, but I haven't seen any other bad signs. In fact, it is beginning a spike!
So, is there anything else I can/should be doing for it? Is the white mold on the moss an issue? I have a piece of cork I could remount it on if needed.
Thanks!

Robert, a "bump" is a way to get a comment on a thread so it gets moved back up to the top of the list. Threads with the newest comments get displayed first, so it's a way for people to see the thread and hopefully comment....kind of like what I'm doing now

You could pour some hydrogen peroxide on the moss. Run a fan, or don't use the dish of water.

Maybe that leaf was mechanically damaged?

Okay, thank you all!
AnonYMouse, that's a possibility i hadn't considered! It definitely could be the case--it popped right off without being discolored or anything, which i found odd.
Sonya, I had read that Haraella like to be damp--do you have another suggestion for how to water it?

I grow mine potted, and water when the media approaches dry. If the moss dries too quickly, you could add more. If you prefer to keep it in the dish, maybe run a small fan. Make sure the moss isn't in the water. These are epiphytes, and don't want to be soggy.

I see, thank you so much! Currently, the moss is not in the water. The end of the stick it is mounted on sits in the water, and wicks up about an inch and a half until it reaches the moss. I will have to look into a small fan, maybe like from a computer. Currently, it is enclosed on three sides. I leave the door open on the lantern, and there are several holes in the top.
