I can't see anything abnormal...but in the first picture, I would change it into a bigger pot.

Okay so they are supposed to look like that / get to looking like that with older leaves?
Yes, definitely needs a re-pot.
Thanks.

Yes, cymbidiums are not the prettiest plants... they get a lot of leave stains, dry pieces of leaves, etc, etc.

I'd probably take that wrapper off the pot to make sure it drains well.
Looks like dark pigment to me, and agree that if the bulbs are firm, they're probably ok. What you are looking at is the bract foliage, not the actual pbulbs.
Does this have red or reddish colored blooms? My Cyms with dark red / reddish blooms have the dark colored bract foliage on the most recent growths.

The dark color on the bract foliage of newer growth is normal for some Cyms (dark colored flowers perhaps) ?\

I don't see any sign of rotting. It looks pretty good.

Yes, I will remove the wrapper, just had not had a chance to mess with it yet since picking it up last week at Trader Joe's.
Question, should this be divided? How big a pot size should it get, something like enough for 2-3 years growth and do you center it? It has like 4 or 5 mature bulbs with (after closer inspection) about 3 to 4 new growths that are about 3-4" or more.
Thanks for all the help everyone!

I'd just go up a pot size (2 gallons ?)
If you wish to divide, each division should have a minimum of at least 3 mature growths + 1 new growth.

There are many videos on YouTube on re-potting and dividing cymbidiums. You might check them out.
