Thats nice to know! Usually i am terrified of spiders but these are so small that they dont really bug me ( not spiker mites btw), and now that i know they eat flys even better. As long as the bugs dont harm the plants/roots i dont mind.

I will definitly post more pix once more buds have opened. keep your fingers crossed for me that they dont blast.

I am most excited about my Rhynchostlis retusa! the spikes are so tiny though i think they might have blasted during shipping. I really hope not.

Yes I have to get rid of the snails! Yesterday I spent a lot of time picking snails out of the pots. I keep them hanging above my sink and have the pots in plastic bags. This helps with humidity and to catch anything that falls out. I examine them regularly and move any snails I see

I take no prisoners with snails. I'm pretty tolerant of a lot of things, but those that do damage.....

We are having a lot of rain at the moment that will bring the snails and slugs out in force, so I will be sowing chemmical megadeth (snail pellets) all round the garden, but especially near the greenhouse.
The first time I did that, there were snail shells and dying snails all OVER the place. Hundreds and hundreds.

You try growig anything where there are those sorts of odds!
