Help - Is my Phal dying? Brown curling leaves

When I water my phals I do let them each sit in a container of water for about 10-15 minutes (so the bark gets moist), then I let them drain. I also let water run through to clear the pot. They will stay moister in the double pots as you have them. I leave mine in double pots at times too, but I don't water as often as you do. I just lift mine out and look at roots to see if it's time to water.
