Congrats on the new growth!! That's exciting. I considered getting one of these but never did. The only thing I know is that they are members of the Zygopetilinae tribe. Obviously you're doing something right since the growth is still growing.

Mine also went dormant, so i guess they are dormant orchids. My bulbs look healthy and have nubbins at the bottom. Just hope it does come up again in spring. Im in the southern hemisphere
