Default New Slippers! and Cu question

I also posted this photo on ST, but I wanted to share my new slippers with you guys too! I'm excited!
I'm posting this in the beginner section because I'm brand new to Multifloral paphs.

Paph. Shin-Yi's Pride (Michael Koopowitz 'Penns Creek' AM/AOS x rothschildianum 'Nuuanu' HCC/AOS
LS: roughly 20" The owner said that it's around 7 years old and close to being mature.

Paph. Rolfei (bellatulum 'Gigantic' x rothschildianum 'Red Glory' FCC/AOS)
LS: roughly 15" ..After I got home, I read that this can be hard to bloom. at least it has nice foliage!

Phrag. Chuck Acker (Eric Young 4N x wallisii)
LS: 14" I picked out this phrag, and while I was eliminating other orchids from my lineup, this poor guy fell off the bench. He has some damage on the leaves.

Hopefully the new slips' will be happy!

Also, a quick question about CuSO4•5H2O (found in Phyton 27?) *sorry if I made an error!
Would I be able to use the crystal form in water, all measured out, like Phyton? Or would I have to do something else with the copper crystals first?

Copper sulfate is very soluble, so you should have no issues.

Be careful of copper though. Overapplied, or applied to the wrong plants, and it's a herbicide..

Thank you, Ray!
Thanks for the warning; I will make a concentrated solution, 21.36% of the CuSO4, like phyton's percentage, and then I'll dilute it for the application when I need it, based on the rates given on phyton's directions.

I don't have any dendrobiums, but I do have paphs, phrags, phals, cattleyas, and some vandaceous orchids. I read that Cu should not be used on blooming plants; other than that, I'm not certain if I have any Cu sensitive plants. I'll have to check that out.
Thanks again.
