Again this SLC dream catcher makes me very confused ok had it for a while now and flowering has been sporadic the odd one here and there. There's always new growth coming but most often they are empty no flower bud containing. It sits outdoors so receive temp drop at night. It gets bright light but indirect and I have stop feeding it as was worried it was fert that is making it too much leafy growth and not enough flowers. So how do I get it so that every new sheath contains a flower.?

I had hoped someone else would help you since most of mine are either species or primary hybrids. I do have a soph. (now Cattleya) cernua and though it puts out growths twice a year, it only blooms once a year (faithfully, around the end of December). In the summer, it gets direct sun in the morning and a little in the late afternoon. My Cattleya (the former laelias are now Cattleyas, I think) species orchids get the same light (but they bloom on every new growth). I am thinking that yours probably needs more light. Hopefully, someone who grows more Slc's will give you more specific advice. Good luck!

The leaves are a pretty deep green in the pic-- it may need more light than it's getting. A lot of mini Catts can do with less light than standard Catts, so I'd make changes gradually and watch for signs of too much light.
