I went to a concert last night, and found a Trader Joe's near the venue (1.5 hours away). I picked this up for $12.99. I repotted it today in bark, moss on top. It was packed so tight in moss and what I think was potting soil, I cut the pot it came in to get it out. Upon repotting, I noticed these black spots, and rubbed them with alcohol. I'm assuming it's mold/fungus, so I'm not getting my hopes up about this plant. I also assume it's a Zygopetalum, I've only had Phals up to now. Any suggestions? I tried putting the large bulb close to the edge of the pot, but I didn't do so hot.
