Default what to do with Cattleya Amethystoglosum that got frostbite

Bought this from a seller online. Came like this. They are replacing but I get to keep this sad sack. What can I do to ensure it has a fighting chance of survival without getting diseased. Do I need to lop off bad parts? Please advise.
