Is this Dendrobium kingianum

Me again.
I pretty sure I know this is Dendrobium. But up till I adopted two of these from a deceased estate had only known of the pink.
The joys of being a novice.
Any way why I am posting is because since I have moved the orchids are getting a lot more care and these which I thought were doing well have started to throw very much larger (is the right word ??) Like the new growth are coming in about 15in long. I guess whatever I fed them is working well. I say whatever as I do not know what they got, it was something I had. And they are getting much more regular care.
I have only had them 2yrs, back when they first came to live with me. I had only had them a short time when they flowered. I do hope the old owner is comfortable that some of his plants ended up in good care. This pic was taken last year and you can see the new growth starting to show. These are now much larger and a lot more have come up.

As the growth is so much better than the old stock. Which I take had not been well cared for due to the age of the last owner who may of been in bad health those last years. I had been wondering if or how to repot. But worried that doing this will spoil them for some years to come.

I will remember to post new photos later in the year, when they flower and to show the difference in growth.

Reviving sad orchids is fun, when they respond to care.
I do have a few Ponga's to throw through the wood chipper to use as potting material.
I seem to remember reading this is a good medium. But not sold down here for this. Yet Ponga's are our native fern and grow like crazy.

Although a dendrobium, I suspect this is a kingianum hybrid, how far removed is hard to tell. The canes are a bit longer than many kingianums and the flowers seem fuller. I might suspect x delicatum too. Does it grow kekies from the top of some of the canes? Kingianums can do this with abandon making it easy to share new plants! Kingianum hybrids are not so generous.

Easy to repot, just remove from existing pot, loosen the outer roots from the ball a bit and drop the whole root ball into a larger pot with proper, well draining orchid mix. The bigger these plants get, the better they are!

If you want to get pieces off, just pull or gently cut part of the root ball away with several canes to each and pot up separately.

which dendie would be blooming in her summer there in New Zealand?

My kingianums just finished, and my xDelicatum varigata is just now bursting open. I thought they were once a year bloomers.

Hers are obviously in almost full sun. Never have seen such beautiful red pseudobulbs!

Would speciosums bloom more often?

Wow...that plant looks like it's growing like a weed, and sometimes kingianum (for me) did. It's lovely..and I agree with the above poster, it looks like there's kingianum in there, but probably not solely kingianum.
Yes, it's great when a sad looking plant comes to life so exuberantly.

Gorgeous plant! The red pseudobulbs and white flowers make a really striking combination. Looks like you're keeping it pretty happy, too.

I agree with Cym Ladye that this is likely a hybrid, probably Den. x delicatum (kingianum x speciosum), to my eye the proportions look wrong for kingianum. Could be a more complex hybrid along those lines; some closer photos of the flowers might help rule some things out but you'll likely never get a precise ID.

Rex, I had the same thought about this being the wrong season for blooming in NZ, but then I noticed OP said this picture is from last year.

Sorry guys. The flower pic was late winter early spring. So you are right wrong time to be flowering here if it was flowering now.
Yes it does have babies coming away from old stock I have been removing them and potting them up.
I just took some new photos to show this beast in full flight.

At 700mm long it makes the old growth look sad.
