Thank you all for the reassurances . I contacted the vendor as well and was very nice and understanding. He said he looked at his other paph acmodontum's and a few had the spots, but that he remembers picking mine and that it did not have the spots. He thinks they may have arisen due to condensation during shipping. He said to keep an eye on it and that if the spots start to spread, I should let him know. So nice to deal with an accommodating vendor!
