Is it shaped like a potato? Or is it shaped like a ginseng or mandrake root?

Some of the plants that are currently in the genus Liparis do not have the same characteristics as each other. It doesn't look like a tuberoid from a Cynorkis, (I could be wrong). The tuberoids on the two species of Cynorkis I've grown so far have the characteristics of looking like hairy mandrake or ginseng roots. The leaves on the 2 Cynorkis species I've grown also look different from yours. From what I've also seen of Cynorkis gibbosa and Cynorkis villosa, all 4 of these species have elongated leaves, not heart shaped ones.

If I'm not mistaken, some Liparis are deciduous and are likely to have tuberoids. I think it could even be a certain kind of Malaxis.

Do you know what other terrestrial orchids the seller was growing?
