Mysterious leaf spot
Default Mysterious leaf spot

So, this showed up suddenly. What is it?

The only thing that has changed is I moved it to a different room to enjoy the blooms. No direct sunlight. Outside of leaf feels smooth and dry as usual.

I don't like the yellow ring around the spot as seen in the first photo. Looks like a bacterial necrosis to me, and I would immediately cut away the front part of this leave in healthy tissue.

Done. Did it this morning and brushed it with cinnamon.

It was on the edge of the leaf anyway so it wasnt worth the risk. Thanks guys (y)

Here's the blooms on this little beauty :-)

Very pretty!
I had a similar spot on one of my orchids and I just tore that part of the leaf off (it had thin leaves) and haven't seen anything else since. You should be fine.
