Funny you should say, I just posted pics of my new Venustum in the Paph section under alliances. I too loved those I saw on display at the show I was at, saw how small they are, and just had to grab on in bud. I do like mine however I don't think it's as special as the ones I saw. Hanzy I agree with you - now that I've been through it several times - that buying them in flower is the best way to go (like you said, if you care). I wish a bit that I had bought the one that was in flower instead of in bud. I have three vini hybrids I wish I had of seen first; they're beautiful but given all my options I may not have chosen the three I have.

All in all I'm still really happy with my Venustum. Good luck with the Paph bug, I'm thinking I need to get me a Bulldog Paph. Do post when you get some blooms.

mine should be arriving today and I just can't wait and I don't know exactly the variation that I am getting so I am excited. It's hard to find a paph in bloom online usually they are in bud and that's about it. Garden centers and shows most of the time have them in bloom but they will also be selling ones that are not and you just got to be careful cause they will not be exactly the one that they have in display. Just something to keep in mind about. it's not too late to get more paphs!
