See this is how I feel as well
I really shouldn't be to mad as I have gotten 2 of them to bloom for me. My hirtzii has one bloom right now but it keeps putting out many buds that are now blasting. I was thinking it may be air movement so I got a little fan I am trying to run. I think they got to cold
yep I am thinking so. I have them in my north kitchen window and when the wind blows guess what.
Also my Ken Dole blasted 2 buds after that last cold spell. I think it is going to have another one
which of course makes me very happy. I have a humidifier running over the top of them 24/7 I am constantly hauling water for my humidifiers and my orchids. I really think I should get my own RO filter system.
I broke that humidifier and had to order a new one and it took about a week so they were without for a bit and I don't think that did them any good. I haven't tried a Dracula yet but I did get a Dracuvallia and it came with a spike that is doing nothing. Not dying nor growing. And the tips of some of the leaves are getting brown and I keep cutting them off.
And I want a Veitchiana and a few others, but I am trying to not get any more until I do much better than I am doing. So I really feel your pain......WE SHOULD be able to grow these
